I’m a Ft. Devens alum myself. Nov. 1957 to June 1958.

I was there from Sept 1979 to June 1980. I go back from time to time. Federal prison there now and some businesses. A lot of the housing was saved. Most of the post seems to still exist.

Middle son was trained at Devens. Army Intelligence Turkey/Ft. Huachuca/Ft. Polk.

Never been to Turkey. I was on orders to Huachuca in 1992 but ended-up getting out.

Now Ft Polk I can sympathize with. 105th MI BN :)

I was part of the 105th in 1989 till it moved to Ft Hood. I was working out of the SSO office for that move.

I was there for mainframe training in early 1984. Then off to Heidelberg Germany.

I liked Huachuca.

I just got back from S Korea in August of 86, and right away got sent TDY to SOCOM.

Hmm. I knew a guy at Goodfellow who was in some sort of White House communications support prior to becoming a 98C. He traveled with the Bush team under Reagan setting up comms. He then changed his MOS and after Goodfellow was sent to Korea. Trying to remember his name ...
