Actually, Whites are over 2/3rds of the total population of the USA. What often confuses people, is that many Hispanics consider themselves white. I take no issue with this unless they are mostly of Native American ancestry, like most Mexicans are. Chart:

No. Those numbers include Hispanics as white. I don’t consider brown people white any more than I consider white people black, do you? The NON-HISPANIC white population count is like 61%. I’ve seen a lot of conservatives touting that 2/3 number but it’s misleading for the purpose of most political argument these days.
