Been hearing/reading how Trump needs to do X since he threw his hat into the ring in 2015. He outsmarted EVERYONE & won the election so I am going to assume till proven otherwise Trump knows exactly what he is doing & how it’s being conveyed.

Trump needs to do a better job of recognizing and reacting to "gotcha" questions like this. It's hard to call it misinformation when they have him on tape.
