"Dammit! I wanted to see Trey Gowdy in that position."

Kudos to Gowdy for his unrelenting hearings trying to nail Hellery on Benghazi, but after she lied to him and the Committee, he did nothing. Sessions is the better pick.

RE: Gowdy
I think Gowdy is essential right where he is for now, to get everything ready for a grand jury. With Bammy and his crew of traitors out of the way, the Benghazi investigation can proceed finally. I wouldn't want to risk losing key information by moving him too soon.

Gowdy is weak on immigration. He did a lousy job on the Benghazi investigation.

I respectfully disagree. Gowdy, more than any other person, created a record of statements by Comey. Comey would not have been on record for the most damaging statements without the questions by Gowdy. Those statements, that he obtained under oath, were the most effective evidence of what occurred.

With that said, I have low expectations for congressional hearings because they never amount to much, but as a statement of record, there was nobody even close to Gowdy in the importance of answers obtained.
