Donald Trump has yet to arrange to speak with Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven, despite the Swedish leader sending him a congratulatory letter and the US President-elect already calling Denmark’s Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen.
“We have sent a letter of congratulations of course, and then the Government Offices made contact with the (US) transition team,” Löfven explained in comments reported by Swedish news agency TT.
Trump’s transition team has released a list of the heads of government and top politicians he has spoken with. The 29 names include European leaders like Italian PM Matteo Renzi, British PM Theresa May, and Denmark’s Rasmussen. …

“I think it is an election result that worries a lot of individuals, as well as markets,” said the leader of Sweden’s ruling centre-left Social Democrat-Green coalition on Swedish breakfast TV.
“I would have preferred Hillary Clinton to win, for a number of reasons. But it is also the case that Sweden will strive to have good relations with the US, no matter who becomes president,” he told public broadcaster SVT as Trump was pulling ahead in the race on Wednesday morning Stockholm time.
Tell him he’ll be called around Christmas, since Sweden isn’t doing much of anything at that time anymore, by law.

What's not to like about a guy who is a Center-Left Social Democrat who teams up with the Greenies and was pulling for a Hillary win? If I were Trump I would have called Denmark first. And he apparently did.

After all, Sweden is the home of the Swedish Bikini Team.
Denmark is in NATO. Sweden... is not!
And JMHO, the women are prettier in Denmark!
