To: 2ndDivisionVet
Not even sworn in, and already I feel as though a great weight has been lifted. No longer will we have to settle for a "new norm" in the United States. We won't have to feel guilty, wring our hands, or blame our Founders for some perceived ill.

Within 6 months, perhaps much less, I suspect that people will have no choice but to feel a difference. A "winning" culture. A feeling that we CAN accomplish great things.

Of course, there will be some kicking and dragging their heels, lamenting that Trump "isn't THEIR President."

I envision a speech in which those losers are told, "the country is winning again, but we're NOT going back to policies and psychology that brought us here. And those that insist that America isn't great can come along for the ride, but they've got to ride in back..."

I had already been in the Army for several years when President Reagan took over from President Carter. The difference was palpable.
