The NYT was a steaming pile of bovine feces served up on a garbage can lid.

Now it’s being served on a paper plate.

Until the NY Times starts firing people nothing will change.

Does anyone really think that just because the publisher declared that they will start being more balanced, that miraculously they will be instantly “balanced?”

Yeah, right.....

On November 8, we voted against Hillary, Obama, the MSM, PC, socialism and the overreach of big government.

The NYT can learn from that, but it isn't even a singular entity, it is the Pravda for the CPUSA and will not change.

executive order is appropriate response to this trash rag.

The U S Government will discontinue immediately all payments for subscriptions of any kind. If individuals or U S Government offices wish to subscribe to any publication they must make their own payment and delivery arrangements. Government offices will no longer accept deliveries of publications not directed to an individual name.

This would be country wide and would probably result in thousands of dollars lost.

That’s a good appraisal of what will probably happen. Elsewhere, I’ve been warning people to ignore the news media recriminations. They won’t stop the liberal propaganda until the stockholders stomp on them. That will be inspired by a couple of corporate failures.

I used to buy the Times every day to read the A section and do the crossword. The business section even back then (1990s) was garbage. I gave up on them when they started pumping dot com stocks based on PAR - Price to Anticipated Return.

Really?

The last time I bought it was a month or so after Bush attacked Iraq. One of the guest editorials was written by Eason Jordan, then with CNN. It was called The News We Kept To Ourselves and detailed the Hussein regimes various torture and murder schemes. The editorial was clear: everybody there knew what was happening.

Jordan lamented that they didn’t report the crimes, although his reluctance to do so was based on retaliation against sources. He concluded with hope that all of it would come out in the future.

Of course, Cindy Sheehan and John Kerry proved more interesting to American news and we never heard much more about it.

Hey, I bought a bunch of those and made an anticipated fortune!
