Thank you very much. Fortunately, the Wolf of Badenoch did not fully succeed and the Lantern O’ the North was only partially burned. The ancient records survived and are accessible there today under the charge of an old gentleman. Interestingly, the Earl of Elgin, known as “Elgin,” has for centuries now been surnamed Bruce, because a Norman hired sword of the King, Robert Le Brus, was married off for dynastic political reasons,to an Elgin woman.
