I’m not as optimistic, although we most certainly did dodge a fatal bullet with Hillary.
Trump still has a staunchly RINO congress to deal with. He might as well have a Demonic-rat congress. We aren’t out of the woods just yet.
The arrogant assumption that far-away propagandists should be the arbiters of, and set limitations on, the learning of future generations is ludicrous.
Perhaps Arnn will work himself out of this job within a year and allow freedom to reign in the realm of training children for citizenship in a free society.

Thank you very much. Fortunately, the Wolf of Badenoch did not fully succeed and the Lantern O’ the North was only partially burned. The ancient records survived and are accessible there today under the charge of an old gentleman. Interestingly, the Earl of Elgin, known as “Elgin,” has for centuries now been surnamed Bruce, because a Norman hired sword of the King, Robert Le Brus, was married off for dynastic political reasons,to an Elgin woman.
As a Hillsdale alum, I would wholeheartedly endorse him. God knows, Hillsdale has had its problems with DOE, and it does not take government money, so appointing Dr. Arnn would seem to indicate an inclination to abolish DOE.
We need to do that, and there are several other departments and agencies that should follow the Department of Education out the Federal Government’s door into the ash-heap of history.
If he’s there to abolish the department, as I suspect he would be, then he’ll just need to take a leave of absence.
Taht would be a good first step.
