No, that was Kevin McCarthy who is still a Congressman. He was the first pick when Boehner retired but his stupid statement ended his potential for the Speaker position. That’s how we got Ryan. Rogers is a retired FBI agent who was a great Congressman until the end and he caved to the Hillary camp. I think that he’s a lawyer and became some sort of consultant so I guess he needed to keep Dem friends in the real world.
