As most Democrats try to peel themselves off the canvas today or simply choose to lie there inert for as long as it takes to not be seen or heard or to see or hear, sources close to U.S. Senator Cory Booker began quietly pounding the 2020 war drums for their guy.
The Donald Trump stunned Hillary Clinton apparently had Booker on her VP short list, but opted instead for Virginia Senator Tim Kaine, who was supposed to pull Virginia and North Carolina for the doomed ticket. Kaine barely squeaked Virginia, but fumbled away NC, and appears hardly muscled up this side of the next presidential contest.

Another groomed fine talking black man
Most Americans would probably have flashbacks to the Nightmare of 2008-2016.
Run him.
Run him.
I’ll be mildly amused at his failure
Kaine barely squeaked Virginia
What about Kanye?
I thought Booker would have been Hillary’s VP pick.
Instead she picked creepy closet case Kaine the clown because he’d done her bidding at the DNC.
Obama is to President what Ty Willingham was to a Notre Dame head football coach.
After purging themselves of white guilt and then having to embrace the suck, the recurrence of a black man to a role in either position is unlikely in the minds of both the American voter and the powers that be at that school in Indiana founded by the French.
One and done.
Booker/T-Bone?
Mr. Booker will be one of the 837 names circulated by “in the know insiders” (not) in the next few months.
Great.. lets push more racial division
The “lesson” the Democratic party takes from this is that they cannot run a White person anymore. It will just depress the African-American base.
If he runs in 2020, whether he likes it or not, he’ll be perceived as Obama-2, and will be judged by comparing Obama to Trump. In other words, he doesn’t have a prayer.
And he’ll draw as much of the Bubba vote as Keith Ellison will.
I’m making a prediction early: Kasich will be the Dem’s nominee in 2020. The corporate wong of the party is not willing to cede control of the party to the activist wing, and a “change of heart” republican is going to head their field.
Any chance he has an Hispanic grandfather? That would cinch the nomination.
...Another groomed fine talking black man....
Has Hidden commented with any “clean and articulate” type adjectives??
Unless they know he's dirty.
Wait.......did I just say that ?
The Left’s promotion of an arbitrary icon is quite different from the singular voice that promoted himself to the forefront without help from anyone.
What???? What about Hillary????
Any chance she comes back in 2020 and runs again???
After all, she was robbed; she “won the popular vote”, she won a “moral victory” and all that.
We still haven’t had a woman president. Will liberal women want to push another woman in 2020? What’s with pushing a black man such as Cory Booker?? What about that Castro kid down in San Antone; don’t “Hispanics” get a bite at the apple????
Heck, what about Tim Kaine??? Often VP nominees become front runners for the next presidential cycle.
He’s one of the few somewhat realistic options the Dhimmicraps have. Andrew Cuomo is another.
