I post nothing political under my real name, but wonder if a pseudonym here for example, is enough of a barrier.

After all, fairly low level sleuthing can link to the real me, but at least I made the attempt.

However, a determined foe could still cause trouble.

I'm here to tell you your pseudonym here at FR is NOT enough of a barrier.

I only use "Mrs Don-o" here at FR and noplace else. I googled "Mrs Don-o" and fund several left-wing websites where they commented on, and of course mocked, my FR posts. At one of them I found somebody had gotten my real name. gone to my Facebook page, and gotten my picture and all kinds of personal info, not just about but about my husband, kids, and other relatives.

I have since closed my Facebook account.
