Did she really return things for cash? Without a receipt? Usually store credit is given...bad enough, but I’ve been the clerk on the other end of those transactions. I can tell you, I memorized everything about the thief’s appearance and what they were returning, in case I ever needed to testify against them. I never did need to, but I was told that several of the thieves that I reported were prosecuted and served some time. As soon as they were out they would come back for more. It always disgusted me.
