Kinch was so much better than the other guy. Any black guy who could put on a Nazi uniform set up a fake checkpoint in the road and get the German truck drivers to stop every time had to be a great actor. Seriously Ivan Dixon was the best. I also loved the fact that Werner Klemperer’s father Otto managed to get the family out of Germany in 1935 to escape the Nazis.
