President-elect Donald Trump faces a growing backlash against his decision to name campaign chairman and former Breitbart News head Stephen K. Bannon as chief strategist at the White House, a choice critics say will empower white nationalists.

A chorus of advocacy groups, commentators and congressional Democrats denounced Bannon as a proponent of racist, anti-Semitic and misogynistic views as Trump began his first full week as president-elect. Trump named Bannon his chief strategist and senior counselor on Sunday while also appointing Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus to be his chief of staff.

The electoral war is over.

The culture war has been engaged. And now you will see, neverTrumpers, tone whiners and concern trolls, why Trump has always been the right man for this time and place.

This is not a battle that he can win alone. He's able to empower us to fight, but the battle will be won or lost by us.

Where is this “White Nationalist” coming from?

I could be more accurate saying the Washington Post is enabling “Pedophiles” and “Human Trafficking.”

It is time to stop responding to the old media which has completely disqualified itself. NOTHING Trump does will be written about with any degree of accuracy. To wit, the only “backlash” is this media self-promoting leftist tripe.

They needed to be prosecuted for interfering with a Federal Election. Trump should appoint a special prosecutor to discover the extent of their malfeasance. Pull their broadcast license. Touche.

"Trump faces backlash". Jeez they have to get some new material. Backlash from whom, Hillary voters? Who gives a sh*t about what they think. We won, you lost. Shouldn't have been so smug back in 2008 and told us to just suck it up. We are going to fix the problems like grownups, roll over your feelings and in fact drive you insane....then we are coming to deconstruct your institutions to make sure you never rise again, That means taking back the universities with student loan reform and the states putting pressure on their universities to actually put out a good product ..aka kids who can get job and not sit around philosophizing about Che Guevara in their stocking caps in the middle of Summer.

You had your 1968 redux nirvana where SJW was cool and you could do just about anything you wanted with Mr. Milk Chocolate Tight Pants and Harambe getting your back. They are out and their memory will be erased legislatively. Then in 2018 and 2020 we are going to really kick your azz sideways. We won without your MSM, you have no cards to play besides violence and that can be quelled with a few well placed Kent States. Threaten murder and mayhem, well we have the bigger guns and the Police, most with experience putting down scum like you in Afghanistan and Iraq. So keep it up snowflakes.

and just what “advocacy groups” are they talking about? I’ll bet the chorus includes such stellar individuals as Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Rev Wright, the good folks at La Raza, NAACP, etc.

Trump should say that Bannon is far better than Rev Wright or most of those complaining about him.

This is just the continuation of the BS that the dems and their media lapdogs did during the campaign.

News Flash!! the campaign is over, and Trump won.

Where is the MSM getting their latest lies and smears? All I see is the usual name-calling, with no facts.

There is a hidden, unstated side to selecting a high-ranked White House confidant, you, as President, want them to be lightning rods for public opinion (especially the Washington DC Elites!) Most Presidents and those staffers find the job will burn the person out in two-or-so years of 365/7/24 duty.

So, if you get a guy, like Bannon, and have him as a wall between the excrement throwers and the President, when he is ready to return to a life where he can see his family more than a couple of times a week, he is replaced, taking a lot of angst with him and somebody new comes in.

What this means is that DJT does NOT CARE ONE IOTA about any backlash, whitelash or whiplash in putting Mr Bannon in. Both know the dance and both have Elephant Hide skins!

Liberals lie and lie badly.

We had an election and they lost.

They’ve no right to dictate to Trump on his White House appointments.

If they want, they can contest it in 2018. Until then, its time for them to STFU.
