I used to listen to Trump on the Howard Stern show back in the late ‘90s and early ‘00s. I doubt he cares much about gay marriage or overturning it - he wasn’t socially conservative back then and he didn’t campaign as a social conservative now. I want to see him build the wall, appoint conservatives to the Supreme Court, rebuild some fairness into America’s trade situation with China and the rest of the world, and do something to fix the crumbling US infrastructure. The wall is priority #1 for me. As long as religious institutions are not required to perform gay weddings against their will, I don’t really care about that subject.

That's where I stand. Once they decided to go after Churches, they lost all my former sympathy. In fact, it's growing into a rather deep hatred, now.

Planned Parenthood is going to be un-funded if they perform abortions, pro-life justices will be appointed to the Surpeme Court. I do think Trump is socially conservative on this issue and Mike Pence is probably the biggest pro-lifer ever on the ticket. Pence has done a lot in this area.

And when liberals bring forward those lawsuits to punish people for not agreeing with their fantasies, that will be when a court has to look at the basis of their claim.

It is 'settled law' until they try to use the courts to bash more people exercising their natural rights, and then it will no longer be settled law. The constitution limits government infringement of natural rights, it doesn't give rights.

There was some indication back in the primaries that Trump was not a true conservative; Cruz even talked about his "New York values", and that created a bit of a storm.

I believe that Trump is more liberal on some issues than we knew, or cared about during the campaign. But I don't think it's that big of a deal. When you consider the major accomplishment of destroying the Clintons, the media, and the Obama legacy- it's such a fantastic shift that I can't imagine why we should nitpick on some issues.

The main thing is that America and Americans are going to be put first. That is Trump's primary motivation. It may even be the first time Americans have had a true advocate in the White House- one that isn't compromised by Wall Street or foreign connections.

We have LOTS to celebrate.
