In the aftermath of defeat, where goes the Democratic Party?

It is now a municipal party. It has no real power over the federal government or state houses.

A municipal party.

A party to manage cities.

Correction: A party to mismanage cities. Truly the last bastions of (D) for the time being. We shall see, perhaps Trumpenomics will permeate even there in time and wrest away control to steadier hands.
