My second child had vaccines at 5. No neurological problems. Third child born with genetic differences and allergies that precluded vaccines even by typical pediatricians. Fourth child also no vaccines. Only one of the four was sick with ear infections and bronchitis and such all the time in his early years. The vaccinated one.
Wow .. !! I only have one child. Like you, I caved to the pediatrician's recommendation for the various series of vaccinations. While waiting for my 3 month old daughter's "well" visit in 1986, I happened to flip through a copy of TIME magazine on the table. In it was an article on the DPT shot and how some children did well with the first 1 or 2 rounds but fared worse on the next 2. There were even several children who died from the vaccination. I brought this to the attention of the pediatrician who said it was rare and "isn't it better to protect your child than suffer from these diseases?" As noted above, she has multiple neurological problems and, like your son, was sick with ear infections throughout her early years.
I recently came across another article from Age of Autism, that delves into the contents of vaccinations.
I don't maintain a list but may start one and have noted your name. BTW - the CDC now recommends the HepB vaccine be given to infants on the day of birth!!! Hep B is a sexually transmitted disease. My daughter adamantly refused. Like several of the vaccines, the Hep B vaccine is repeated at 1, 2, 4 and 6 months. Sd you so well noted. infant and baby brains undergo tremendous development during the early years of life. Introducing all of these chemicals, foreign dna and aluminum, makes absolutely no sense. Thank you for sharing your story.
Looking at your own tag. The goal is to get the child as effectively as possible through this journey called the mortal coil. Trade offs, as always, may be needed. We count our blessings and then are willing to leave any or all of them behind for the sake of best serving the Lord.
Praying for wisdom.
I wonder what Ben Carson, for one, has to say about vaccines and the Christian concerns about them.
