WASHINGTON (AP) — Donald Trump elicited wild cheers on the campaign trail by pledging to “drain the swamp” in Washington, but the president-elect’s transition team is populated largely with creatures of the capital, including former federal bureaucrats, think-tank academics, corporate lawyers and special-interest lobbyists.
An internal organizational chart for the Trump transition team lists more than 30 names, some well-known within the GOP establishment. They are tasked with helping to select and vet Trump’s Cabinet, as well as map out the key policy initiatives the new administration will pursue.

I would point out that just because some transition team member are from the GOP establishment does not automatically mean they’ll be picking GOPe personnel.
Let us remember that Trump is the ultimate decider.

Trump ran on building the wall, repealing Obamacare, reducing regulations and taxes, stemming the flow of illegals, and renegotiating/eliminating unfair treaties our government has signed us up to.
I don’t care who does it as long as it gets done.
Here is what WTOP really doesn’t like:

It isn’t that President Donald Trump is using “insiders”, it is the kind of “insider” he is using! He is not using their insiders!

The media continues to take Trump literally but not seriously. It is hysterical. Everything they have reported so far is so predictable.
Trump is not hiring the guy who makes slurpees at 7-11 for an undersecretary job means hes a hypocrite for not draining the swamp.
