That might be alright now but when the dems control the legislature they will just gerrymander them to suit their needs. We need to win the popular vote not try and squirm and try to win elections without it....were does that end up?
Reagan won the Popular vote and the 2nd time around so did Bush.

That might be alright now but when the dems control the legislature they will just gerrymander them to suit their needs. That may be, but the power of the Metro areas will still be broken. No matter how contorted the gerrymander - whether it gets 50% or 110% - the district still only gets one vote. At least Real America (rural) has a better shot.
We need to win the popular vote
The Electoral Votes are what count. IMO, it will take a long tome to swing the electorate around - especially since the liberals still control print and TV communication and colleges.
