Anti-Trump protesters march for 3rd night; Portland police call it a 'riot'

Thousands protesting Donald Trump's victory in the presidential election took to the streets for a third night of demonstrations and vigils in several US cities.

An anti-Trump rally in Portland, Oregon, revved up as protesters confronted police Thursday night. What started out as a peaceful march, with more than 4,000 people, quickly turned violent.

This was never a protest to begin with......they hit the streets hot and heavy..... It was a Soros organized ‘display’ of his own rage that the election didn’t produce the ‘years long star he had fashioned’ to carry out ‘His’ agenda.

Conservatives have to actively seek middle of the road news sources and there are not that many true conservative sources at all.

Conservatives have to filter and analyze every piece of news they get because it’s so biased. Snowflakes never have to filter or analyze anything.

So, was it a march or a riot? In a march people wave signs, block traffic and make noise. In a riot they throw stuff, break and burn things and hurt people.

Portland's mayor held the police back until obvious he had to act. Encouraged this backlash writing “though this is not our President, we must be restrained”. WTF? This type of continued “enabling” has caused the situation, or at least exacerbated it. Next Charlie Hale (Portland's mayor) will bring in grief counselors for the rioters. You can't make this “s..t” up!

Before the election, the media portrayed Trump supporters as the potentially violent ones, but we all know that nothing like this would be happening if Trump had lost, and we all knew that this WOULD happen if Hillary lost.

They always do. Even as the media described Trump as a "Nazi" and "racist" and "lover of dictators," they chastised Trump for his "extreme rhetoric."

Just a week ago, someone in the media referred to the "Brooks Brother's riot," which consisted of a couple of dozen young Republicans chanting something in a hallway outside one of the recount rooms during the 2000 Florida recount. It was nothing it all like a riot, but the press chose to call it that.

Police calling it a riot (around 8PM) has legal ramifications. Partly based on totality of damage and other factors, the declaration allows them to arrest any participant with a class C felony. Prior to that it was catch & release.
