Beat me to it.
I had the pleasure of seeing Savoy Brown in Tampa not too long after that LP came out. Excellent. I then saw Kim Simmonds in Clearwater Fl around 2002. Very talented guitarist. Got my Looking In LP cover autographed!
Also saw him a couple of years later at Skippers Smoke House in north Tampa. He did some really nice jamming with local whiz kid Damon Fowler.
Looking In was an interesting departure from the more straight bluesy stuff. Yet it is still my favorite.
If memory serves, the last LP with Lonesome Dave on vocals.
I always wished I had seen them live when Chris Youlden was the vocalist. He left after the Raw Sienna album and Dave Peverett took over the vocals on Looking In.
Looking In and Raw Sienna are my two personal favorites.
I did see them live during The Street Corner Talking period right after The Looking In album. Whole new lineup except for Kim Simmonds. And Dave and Roger Earl went on to form Foghat.
I think I saw Foghat once...hard to remember...I’m a child of the 60’s too. :>)
