The industry practice (as I remember it) for any employer/group insurance policy being replaced by another company (in the old private sector), pre-existing conditions were covered. There was also the ‘conversion’ feature of a disabled employee being able to convert to a private policy, before Medicare kicked in.

Memory getting weak.

Thanks. I hated being shoved into 0care from Blue Cross. Lost 3 of 4 good docs, 1 med that worked not covered, coupla other procedures no longer covered. And Im just one mild case. I am Trusting President Trump to get us all back to something better.
