Hillary lost because of who SHE is .. a corrupt & vile person, and a terrible candidate (just like in '08). She couldn't close the deal. Trump could, and did.
Obama won Ohio in 2008 and Pennsylvania in both 2008 and 2012. Trump won both of those states. What that tells you is that even a substantial number Obama supporters couldn't stand the thought of Hillary as President.
In fact, the sole reason Hillary was the Democrat's nominee to begin with was that the DNC only allowed the unelectable crackpot Bernie Sanders and no-names like O'Malley to challenge her in the primary (and even Bernie proved to be a viable challenger). Even some liberals want candidates who are at least not blatantly corrupt and somewhat likeable.
