Lou Dobbs calls out the House for a surprise vote for House Leadership next week in lame duck session.
Rep Collins says in interview with Dobbs that the Republicans called to 'get leadership elected starting Monday'.

Apparently, it is not necessary to be a member of the House of Representatives to become Speaker, it is only necessary that a majority of the House members settle on one candidate.
Technically, the Speaker of the House only holds that position at the sufferance of the majority of the members, and may be voted out at any time there is a crisis of confidence.
This is an attack on Trump during the lame duck session and you can bet it is a signal that Ryan intends to obstruct Trump’s agenda.

What happened there? Are they saying they’re going to reelect RYNO as Speaker before any competition can spring up?

Ok so then why have an election of leadership now? They already have leadership. Are they calling a special election to change leadership then? I’m serious. I don’t get it.
We need a new Speaker and a new Senate Majority Leader. I’d like to see Jeff Sessions in there. Don’t know for the other. Duncan D. Hunter??
The new Congress needs to vote, not the lame duck session of the old Congress.

It would be the best thing ever for our country to see indictments for corruption, treason or what ever else we could nail them crocked lawyers with...!

Well, it takes a lot to get to the point of voting someone out. Look at Boehner? He needed to go for years. Better to start things off right and not say ‘we can wait and do something about it later if there’s a problem’. No one in DC has the guts to upset the apple cart.
My congressman, Scott Perry, did not get my vote because he’s supported Boehner and Ryan in the past and I knew if I voted for him again I would be voting for someone who will support Ryan again.
We have to vote out ALL congressman and Senators and replace them with new people and ideas.
I’ll email my congressman and suggest waiting for the new congress before voting on the leadership for the new congress.
The reason they would choose to do it now is because they know we will forget what they did by the time the next election season comes around.
The Left is out in the streets but shouldn’t “We the People” be up in arms to say NO to backstabbing Paul Ryan as Speaker again.
Donald Trump may want to make up and be friends with Reince Priebus as the middle man but I know Ryan will stab him in the back again and its just flat out unacceptable for Ryan to become Speaker again.
