In the end it was their hubris. For some many years they were never held accountable for all the sewage they spilled everywhere they went. There’s no need to list all their sins, it would take an entire book.
They thought,”Hell no-one’s stopped us yet,the media will continue to cover for us. It doesn’t matter all the crimes we have committed, we can win this easy.”
They were right about the media covering for them once again, but underestimated the internet and sites like FR, the power of Facebook & Twitter. Once enough people found out what despicable POS they were, it did matter, they were held account able by millions. A whole new generation learned what they are really like.
Most people with their baggage would never have attempted to run. But what applies to most people never applied to the Clintons. They are convinced they are so much smarter than everyone else, especially the “f*cking dumb” people, as she described them in one of Podesta’s emails.
