No, it won’t be 50/50. The GOP will have 51 sitting senators for the next senate class (and once Pense is sworn in as VP, he in effect would be the 52nd GOP senator, if needed to break a tie).

I think it’s 52. We had two losses of incumbents and had 54 going in I think.

You might not be counting Louisiana, which is going into a run-off, but where the Republican will win, cementing 52.
