Seriously. I logged on to ask that question, because of the effects flipping through news channels last night was having on me: uncontrollable s**t-eating grins, convulsions (of laughter), etc. I'm sure many of you noticed some of the same symptoms. I can't recall feeling this way, and it's quite disconcerting. I woke up today with a huge Schadenfreude hangover.
Now this video. It's almost too much. The saying: "the dose makes the poison" keeps ringing through my ears. Sure, a bit of Schadenfreude feels good (although, perhaps tinged with a bit of guilt, for taking pleasure in others' misfortune) -- but, I fear we're approaching toxic overloads.
