They may have had their differences but the smart move would be to nominate Ted for SCotUS.
The Senate would love to send Cruz packing to the SCOTUS. There may be just as constitutional conservative SCOTUS candidates out there, that do not have the same ability to be a political advocate for conservatives that Cruz does.
