Rabbi Shlomo Riskin, the chief rabbi of Efrat and head of and head of the Ohr Torah Stone institutions, said in an interview with Channel 7 that he believes Trumps victory is auspicious both for the world and for the State of Israel.
This is a victory for the common American, he said. The US does not like hypocrisy and is very much in favor of equality and democracy. Clinton, he said, is the opposite of that, and there was a lot of talk about her corruption and the large sums of money she took from special interests, and Trump talked about all this openly.
Regarding the failure of the polls, Rabbi Riskin said that, because Trump seemed coarse and crude, people were reluctant to publicly say that they supported him. But people felt that he spoke the truth. American Jews also voted for Trump, but did not publicize it because of the demonization of Trump.

What %?
that’s right Teacher, you just missed Fascism all over again.
This better be the end of the two state “solution.”
Too bad most of the Jews voted for Hillary.
My synagogue’s parking lot was filled with cars that had Trump stickers on them.
I should go check on the whiney liberal rabbis in town to see if they’re still hyperventilating.
I have a good friend who now spends most of his time in Israel who voted for Trump. Pretty sure this was his first time voting for an “R.” He was totally fed up with Obummer’s feckless foreign policy.
Riskin is a smart fellow, whose columns are usually well worth reading.
He’s right, of course, on most of this.
He is too tactful to say it out loud, that Obama/HilLIARy/DNC is SOLD OUT to, and MERE PUPPETS of, the IslamONazis/SorosNazi/Saudi/Gulf Islamic dictatorships
Obama is obvious, having been infiltrated into America and groomed specially by Saudi dictator prince and SorosNazi.
HilLIARy reported raised over $200 MILLION in illegal funds from Saudi/Gulf IslamoNazi dictatorships, plus SorosNazi.
the dangerous and deceptive lie called the “two state policy” is dead
any Moslems who don’t like living in Israel should go home to a Moslem country, such as the one just a couple miles to the east called Jordan, which consists of 3/4 of Mandatory “Palestine” and which has a fairly decent government, too, considering its a Moslem nation.
People peaceably move much further every day just to put their children in different schools in cities across America
Only Thus will peace be possible.
Well, this Jew voted for Trump, and proudly so. I was for him since July of last year - after having done a bit of research on him and our immigration crisis (thanks, Ms. Coulter).
I got a call from my very religious brother in Israel a little while ago. He was clearly ecstatic about the results, and offered me congratulations on the 180 degree turn in this country’s direction.
I laugh my ass off thinking about how my wife - my Jewish, Hispanic (and obviously) female wife - the trifecta for Hillary - also proudly voted for Trump. Hillary is 0-for-3 with her, and I enjoy that she enjoys rubbing other Jewish Hispanic females’ noses in it (and many of them can’t vote, not having become citizens to date!).
My synagogue is also full of pro-Trump and anti-Hillary or anti-Obama bumper stickers. It does make for interesting conversation with those who profess to be Orthodox, but who vote like Reform NYC Jews....
...speaking of which, I so thoroughly enjoyed the intense fear, loathing and barking-at-the-moon lunacy of 2 of my idiot cousins that I cannot describe it. I was laughing so hard at their FB posts last night that I couldn’t even sleep.
G-d is good - thank you, oh L-rd, for having delivered this country from Evil, and for giving the people of this nation yet another chance to redeem ourselves. Thank You also for letting us enjoy the discomfort and fear of those who support Evil.
A victory for Israel, anyway.
American Jewish lefties - not so much.
Just like the “Christian” left.
Because most American Jews do not follow the faith of their fathers; their religion is Leftism. They don’t care much about Israel, nor the principles of their faith.
I think rather differently from them.
