I don’t trust him, but this is not our choice. The most corrosive thing to a Trump Presidency would be to start off with a civil war.
Hannity was wrong last night to say what he said. I truly believe he feels the anger we do towards Ryan for his back-stabbing ways and that is EXACTLY what it was. I will remain very angry over Ryan’s betrayal (and many others), but that is a luxury Trump cannot afford.
Ryan is very close to Priebus and Pence - per Trump those are two men who he owes big. He is also the sitting Speaker and as such, he is the second most powerful person in D.C.
It would not hurt my feelings one bit, but it would likely hurt Trump before he is even sworn in to pursue this right now.
There is *so* much resentment for Ryan. It has been festering for *so* long. Anything Ryan has to offer (I’m 1 of those naiive ones who will take him at his word) is too little, too late. So, while I don’t doubt his sincerity, I just don’t think he has enough of it. Therefore, he has to go.
