Now that Donald Trump has been elected the 45th president of the United States, the discussion among the punditry turns to who he may appoint to his cabinet. Should he award those who have been most loyal to him throughout his campaign, then we obviously need to look at former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, Gov. Chris Christie, Newt Gingrich and Gen. Michael Flynn, and Dr. Ben Carson, all of whom have stood by Trump's side and have come to his defense time and again throughout the past several months.
The Today Show Twitter account surmised Giuliani will eventually assume the role of attorney general, Gingrich will be secretary of state and Flynn will be secretary of defense...

Sheriff Joe was defeated. Seriously bad news.
Agree with you. There’s no rush to appoint Christie to anything. Wait until the appropriate time to reward him.
Glen Beck for janitor :-)
Actually, I was thinking Palin for Dept of Interior, but Energy works too! Rudy for AG. Gingrich for SOS. Christie for Transportation just because that would be so damned funny ... ok ok, Christie for Homeland Security. Ben for Surgeon General.
Chuck Norris for Secretary of State. (However, they’ll have to change the name to “Minister of State”, or something like that - nobody calls Chuck Norris a secretary!)
Gotta agree with you here. Although SOS is more prestigious, having Newt as Chief of Staff is absolutely critical to Trumps success. Newt can help get Trump’s agenda passed in Congress like no one else.
Don’t forget Sherrif David Clarke, the new FBI Director.
Whoa, that is a seriously good idea!
On that note, I recommend Bobby Jindal for HHS or Dommerce. He is a boring policy wonk, but he is smart as heck and a true conservative.
Ruth Buzzy Ginsberg can feel free to drop dead anytime now. :-)
No recess appointments allowed unless the Senate is in a substantial recess: Not for just an hour, not for just a day, not for just a holiday but substantial. So SCOTUS has ruled during Obozo’s regime. To avoid misunderstanding, McConnell need only to delegate to junior members of the Republican caucus the obligation to show up each day for a pro forma session: Call the Senate to order; note the absence of a quorum; move to adjourn to the next day; adjourn to the next day. Rinse and repeat as necessary.
He won't need to, Obama will do that for him. The one that really needs to worry, is Carlos Danger a/k/a Anthony Wiener. No one on ether side is in a mood to pardon him, and since everyone else has been pardoned, he has no testimony to trade for immunity.
YES! Gov. Palin for Dept. of Energy!!
Hannity will be Press Secretary, Carson head of HEW, and Gingrich Chief of Staff.
Better yet, Diamond and Silk for press secretary. The so-called ‘Journalists’ couldn’t complain or it would be RACIST.
I love the idea
Giuliani for AG, Ben Carson for HHS, Palin for Dept. of
Energy . . Yes!
Since Rudy is going to be AG, then I suggest for nomination to the SCOTUS Trey Gowdy.
LOL...heads would roll....those that hadn’t already exploded!
Never fat-headed Christie and Rudy’s getting too old. Trey Gowdy for the court.
