John McCain Retains Senate Seat

GOP Arizona Sen. John McCain managed to retain his seat in the upper chamber after edging out his Democratic opponent Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick Tuesday.

With 23 percent of precepts reporting, the Associated Press called the race with McCain taking in 53 percent of the vote to Kirkpatrick’s 42 percent as of 10:55 p.m. ET.

Same here. I wasn’t about to vote for Kirkpatrick, but I just couldn’t bring myself to vote for McCain either.

I held my nose and voted for him. I think he’ll pull a Paul Ryan and play nice with Trump, at least for a while.

With this probably McStain’s last election it wouldn’t surprise me in the least to see him jump ship to his true love. Although I heard that Manchin of WV is considering caucusing withe the R’s.
