I’m in Maine.
Hillary is leading the entire state 48% to 44%, but I think it’a southern Maine...CD 1....that’s reporting.....the liberal part of the state.
CD 2 is 80% of Maine, of which Bangor is a small part. It’s just too early to call it.
From the NYT about PA: “We think about 1,506,000 votes remain to be counted. We think Donald J. Trump leads in that vote by about 8.9 points, based on what we know about those counties and the votes counted so far.”
Trump is leading the ENTIRE state of Maine right now, 46.9% to 46%.
Also, the “Universal Background Check”, Measure 3 in Maine, funded by Bloomberg....
The “Yes” side had a huge amount of advertising, many commercials on TV and radio, funded by Michael Bloomberg.
Many of the commercials had Maine police chiefs in them, who favored a “yes” vote.
The “No” side had very few commercials. Some of those commercials had Maine sheriffs appearing in them, in uniform. They wanted voters to vote “no.”
I must have seen 50 - 100 “Yes” ads for every “No” ad.
The voters in Maine are saying NO to background checks on private sales, and NO to Michael Bloomberg. “NO” is winning!
