likely what is happening, machines are malfunctioning and ppl been complaining about it, so they have to take it out back to fix and that is what is holding up the lines

The machines they use in CT count a ballot almost instantly. Insert ballot, wait about 2 seconds and it is ready for the next one.

No kidding! Your average little hand held math machine can do more than is necessary for a voting machine.
