Keep in mind, Muslim women are not allowed to marry non-Muslim men. Muslim men can marry infidel women, but not the other way around.
Now, it doesn’t seem to me that Huma, with her family background, is likely to be an apostate, and it also doesn’t seem likely that Weiner secretly converted to Islam either. So the entire marriage would seem to be a sham from the start, excusable as cover for Huma’s “cultural jihad”.
