Different in one key way. Clinton will get 30% or better support nearly anywhere in the country. Lincoln didn't even bother trying to get on the ballot in the confederacy, and couldn't win the border states. Despite the whole blue/red state thing it really is more about class, sex and urban/suburb/rural vs. north vs. south (or equivalent). In the demographic maps I saw, non-white in Montana and Maine are going for Trump,but whites in California are voting for Clinton.
