You better hope it doesn’t come down to either one of those states. PA likes to tease the Republican every time, but it never comes through. And Bush 2004 won by a pretty comfortable margin against Kerry, and PA still was BLUE.
Bush had 286 electoral votes against Kerry’s 251. Not close. PA still went dem.
Nothing is bringing them back red, same with MI. Too many Muslim immigrants in the big cities in that state now.
