This isn't in keeping w the agreement. Since we clearly have some leverage, would be good to flag this for him. I could send a signal via Welch--or did you establish a direct line w him?

Following up on our call on Friday, just wanted to give some updates and flag that Bernie went after HRC and WJC on wealth (including using the word hustle.)
I followed up with Brad. The only thing theyve pushed is from the attached docstrying to get reporters to write that HRC and Bernie are actually in the same place. They are happy for any suggestions, but were not planning on making any big attacks around the announcement.
Were working on talking points for surrogates now and will get those around. Unless others disagree, I dont think we comment on the question below.

Are we just declining comment on all these?

Morning Josh! Fresh off of a pantsuit post (and maybe something on the latest Snoop Dogg-for-Hillary news), I'm looking at putting together something Bernie Sanders said in a CBNC interview published this morning:
http://www.cnbc.com/id/102694355
Asked about the Clintons' wealth, Sanders responded: "Theoretically you can be a multibillionaire and in fact be very concerned about the issues of working people. Theoretically that's true. When you hustle money like that, you don't sit in restaurants like this. You sit in restaurants where you spend, I don't know what they spend, hundreds of dollars for dinner and so forth. That's the world you are accustomed to. And that's the worldview that you adopt. I'm not going to condemn Hillary and Bill Clinton because they've made a lot of money. That type of wealth has the potential to isolate you from the reality of the world."
I wanted to see if the campaign had any comment, especially because her town hall events involve interacting with a lot of real-world people. Otherwise, I'll just pull a campaign quote from other times the money issue has popped up.
Probably looking at publishing something later this a.m. Thanks!

“We love to lie and it shows!”
That's funny and pitiful.
Makes us sound like something under a microscope COVER-SLIP, or like some viridescent BEETLE, pinned inside a glass cabinet up on a science lab wall.
It's pretty clear how insulated ALL OF THEM are, right..?
She’s going down in defeat.
See?
Bernie's bid for the candidacy was AN ORCHESTRATION from the beginning...!
Hillary is NOT comfortable with stuff that goes Uncontrolled.
And if we don't talk to ALL those we know, WE will be next.
OK, is this Twitter BS? I’m almost 60 years old and none of this bullshit makes any sense. How are people that are used to normal English supposed to make any sense of this crap?
Haha I’m glad you posted that.
I had exactly the same impression. But I didn’t want to say that.
And I thought it was just me.
Wow, who didn’t see this one coming?
Stupid millennials. They’ll trust in any old garbage that gets slung their way. The only thing they steer way clear from is the truth. Brainwashing is a powerful thing.
Exposure to true information does not matter anymore. A person who is demoralized is unable to assess true information. The facts tell nothing to him even if I shower him with information, with authentic proof, with documents, with pictures. — Yuri Bezmenov
Interesting comments on reddit about this.
The original email says “fresh off a pantsuit post” - huh?
I agree with you too. I just copy/pasted/and posted the thing. Then somebody added it to breaking news although wiki apparently posted it on the 4th.
I’m glad I’m not the only one!
I’m glad I’m not the only one!
SUCKAHS!!
but Bernie had to be the other half of the agreement. Maybe the DNC brokered the agreement or it was done directly. All i get out of this is Bernie agreed not to mention their wealth in exchange for them not bringing up some point about him.
Probably an offer he “couldn’t refuse”.
Judging from the tiny scripted townhalls, she’s had, she still hasn’t interacted with very many real-world people.
