I've lived in AZ for over 50 years, I'm a White guy with with many Mexican-American friends, relatives and acquaintances and I've dated Latinas. I know Mexican-Americans and their culture.
Election day will prove this true. You just watch.

There’s some male hispanics in Oregon that I have seen with Trump stickers on their trucks......but I have talked to a few of them and they are not new immigrants. One guy had a drywall business and another I spoke to was in construction. They’ve lived here for 20 years and they also do not approve of more Mexicans coming into the US.
I think it holds true. Many Hispanics, the vast majority in the SW and W, are Catholic.
I’ve been watching the daily IBD/TIPP tracking poll. It breaks down the poll by many categories. One of the categories is Religion, or lack of it.
The last few days it had Trump winning Catholics by 13 (and the winner of the Catholic vote has won every election since 1972, 2000 the only exception and then just barely.)
Today it went down to an 8 point lead for Trump.
