Vote for Koster is a resounding rejection of the Republican Party.

I don’t feel bad about it. What has it done for us lately?

At the legislative level, the Missouri GOP is great. It just seems when we run our statewide candidates they have a lot of negatives surrounding them. I moved here in 1995 and we’ve had one Republican governnor since, but the house and senate have veto proof majorities. It’s strange.

For me, the answer to your question is simple:

The Missouri Republican House and Senate both have super-majorities, and have passed many good bills which Democrat Gov. Jay Nixon vetoed. Although Nixon is the most-overridden governor in Missouri history, overriding vetoes is difficult.

With a Republican governor, we would be able to implement many things (right-to-work and tort reform, for example) with the majority vote and the governor's signature. No super-majority would be necessary.

Greitens wasn't my first choice as Republican candidate - but we need to vote for him as our next Missouri Governor on Tuesday, November 8!
