If this is true, it is grounds in of itself for the IRS to yank the foundation’s tax status...also, such payments would be taxable income to Slick Willy personally...
I see it a little differently. The entity with the biggest problem is Hillary Clinton’s campaign. It seems the campaign is spending money on what should be personal or Foundation expenses. That said, I don’t really know what constraints there are on campaign spending. Certainly a campaign can contribute to charity (is paying the Foundation’s legal expense kind of like an in-kind donation?). And I’m sure Bill’s “political” legal expenses would be spun as more like “political” expenses for the campaign.
Very interesting.
I wonder how the Clinton campaign is communicating. They probably assume (correctly) that emails are compromised-if not by the Rooskies, then by the FBI. Burner phones? There a LOT of stories to keep straight here. This may cripple the campaign at a critical time. Too bad.
This is unreal. The Dallas IRS office is in charge of yanking this tax exemption as well they should. Also This constitutes INCOME top Bill and if he failed to report that income he needs prison for tax fraud.
It looks to me like Hillary’s campaign would be in trouble with the FEC.
