No doubt. I think we are affected more by the position we hold in our respective time zones. Six years ago we moved from the extreme west edge of the pacific time zone, to the east edge of the Mountain time zone (we are 1/2 mile from the NM/TX border). That, plus the fact that we moved several degrees lower in latitude, makes nightfall seem to come a lot earlier for us in the summertime. We do get more daylight in the winter than we had in Oregon but it is still shifted by about an hour.

So everything is just weird and I don't know if we'll ever get used to it.
