The transit strike is going to affect Democratic turnout in Philly and without Philly, PA is crimson red. They’re scared witless right now.
They are looking to file an injunction to get them back to work for Election Day.
Not familiar with Philly, but when I lived in NYC, most polling places were in easy walking distance. Remember, city people walk. Suburbanites and country people drive.
When I lived in Philadelphia, the polling places were fairly close together - about 6 blocks apart. Transit would not have made any difference and it probably will have no effect on this election either.
