There’s a liberal Dem Iowa blog called bleedingheartland.com. He states in 2008/2012, Obama drove up the unaffiliated totals (presumably millenials) and that is not happening this year.
Unaffiliated voters in blue states tend to vote Democratic so that is a plus. See Iowa’s exit poll crosstabs.
