To: Seattle Conservative

Isn’t there something similar that has to do with the World Series — whether the National League or the American League wins in an election year? One league’s win = Dem, and the other league’s win = GOP?

It’s good news for the GOP when the National League team wins the World Series.
In 1980, The Philadelphia Phillies and Reagan won.
The Chicago Cubs’ had their parade today.
Hopefully, Trump will enjoy his victory celebration Tuesday night.

I seem to recall hearing about something like that, MM, but I don’t recall what it is. I did a search on bing. The link below is one of the 1st ones that came up. It looks like it doesn’t always happen that way but American League often means Pubbie and National League means Dim. Cubs are in the National League.
