I don’t know about eating obsidian, but there are people who will eat colloid silver because it has antimicrobial properties. I saw a patient once who put colloidal silver in a nebulizer and inhaled it.

I have no idea what obsidian is, but people do drink colloidal silver. It’s used as a natural cure for a myriad of ailments.
