Cruz will easily stay in control in Texas.

You’re letting your bitter acrimony turn your mind to snot.

How about this:

Folks welcome Cruz and his effort at this late date to helped get Trump elected. We need every vote we can get and it Ted Cruz helps, the more the merrier. Go Ted Cruz.

Also we need every republican senator. So if it takes voting for Ted Cruz in 2018, so be it, I will gladly support him for his past work in the senate.

I think that might satisfy the folks that genuinely like Ted Cruz and his past service to the conservative movement.

That said many feel Ted showed bad character in this years primary election. They would not want him to get a more prominent position in the republican party, nor do they want him to run for higher office than he now occupied. that is an equally valid point of view and if enough folks feel that way Ted Cruz will find his future in the republican party is not very bright. How that comes out is something first to be determined by the republicans in Texas in 2018, followed by the primary voters in 2020 or 2024.

But for now let us remember until we get trump elected we do not need to attack each other. I think both sides have some genuine arguments in their belts for why they see things the way they do. I am sure it will be worked out in time, after we succeed in this election.
