Schindler’s life and story reflects the great dichotomy present in the German personality. Intelligence, creativity an even kindness coexist simultaneously with harsh dogmatic compulsions, rigidity, projection and murderous prejudice. It continues to this day and is reflected in their politics and policies. Churchill summarized it best. “The Germans are either at your throat or at your feet”. They can never atone for their crimes nor will they ever recover the irreplaceable genetic loss of their best stock between 1914-1945. The results insanity of the Kaiser and Hitler can never be forgotten or reversed.

That’s the same collective guilt mentality that allowed the Germans to murder Jews. The German people didn’t commit crimes, individuals did. A German today has zero guilt they should carry. And the genetic loss of their best stock? You must be kidding. The mass murderers on the WWII German military were not the best stock.
The final error in that was to join the German military of WWI with WWII, and of the Kaiser with Hitler. They could not be more opposite.
In WWI Germany was not evil or a cause of the War. Britain carries more blame than Germany in WWI. The German soldier in WWI had the right to vote, the average Brit did not. The average Russian soldier was fighting for the last absolute monarchy. (in the war to make the world safe for democracy)
