The war between Justice and the FBI is easily won by the FBI.
Justice is ultimately a political animal, as are their masters in the White Hut.
And, the FBI has the latitude to leak if they choose. And to seek and execute search warrants.
If Obama fires Comey now and stops this, kids 2,000 years in the future will read about it and it’s aftermath...assuming there is any civilization then.
I agree that the FBI has the whip-hand....issue is where is Comey in all this ? How compromised is he ?
The position of FBI director is a 10-year post. Can’t be fired. It’s set up that way to give him/her the latitude to do what’s needed without worry of political consequence or whatever. Comey is not worried about his job.
